Receiving multiple duplicate push for the same post

I am receiving 2-3 push notifications (all the same/duplicate) when ONE post is published. Can you please help?

Hi @blackknight,

Thank you for using Webpushr.

The first place to check is your notification stats page. This is where you see what our platform is doing on your behalf. This page can be found under “Notification Stats” option of our plugin’s menu. You can also see this information on our dashboard here: https://app.webpushr.com/campaign/wordpress. If you weren’t familiar with this page, please bookmark it and plan to see this periodically. It shows detailed push delivery stats for each push notification that our plugin sends on your behalf. See if you see one or two push notifications being sent on this page. If you see duplicate push notifications on this page, it means that your WordPress is publishing the same post multiple times and as a result, our plugin is sending push notifications multiple times. Below is an example of duplicate posts being sent by our platform because the same post is getting published multiple times by your WordPress site.

How to fix this:

1- Please uncheck “Automatically Send Push Notification” option in our Plugin’s configuration page. This will stop our plugin from sending push notifications automatically.
2- Please manually check “Send Push Notification” option in Webpushr meta box when you publish each post from the post edit page.
3- Try to fix the root cause. Investigate why your WordPress site is publishing the same post multiple times with “Push Notification” option turned ON.

Another possibility could be that you are subscribed to your site from multiple browsers on the same device. Each browser subscription is considered a unique subscription endpoint.
